The hotel clearly had a thoughtful design when it was first built, but it seems to have been neglected by the current management. It needs a major renovation and modernization. Our room also hadn’t been cleaned properly, with visible dirt left behind by the previous guest.
When I arrived at 11 pm, they didn’t know about my booking. They found it, then wanted to charge more than Booking.com had quoted, plus $250 for my dog. I wasn’t willing to pay that for just a few hours of sleep, so I left and drove another four hours home. They charged me anyway. When I called to ask why, they said it wasn’t their problem.
My granddaughter and I had a fantastic week here in March. Everything was very clean, and the staff cleaned every day, so you can tell they look after the place. Everyone was extremely nice and quick to help with whatever we needed, especially Lupita. I’d recommend staying here to anyone, and I’ll be back!
The hotel has clearly seen better days, but the bed in our room made it worthwhile.
The room was clean, spacious, and stocked with most kitchen basics. The grounds are lovely and roomy, and the price was great. Some maintenance issues still need attention.
