It’s about a 10-minute drive from the airport, so it worked for my flight the next morning. At 1,100 pesos, the room wasn’t a bad deal. It was small, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean with no bad smell. There’s not much in the way of attractions.

This place felt more like rented rooms than a hotel. The bathroom didn’t even have a door, and it was really noisy. The sheets and bed smelled bad, there were roaches and bugs, and the Wi-Fi was bad. No hot water either. The TV was small and had only about three channels. It felt like somewhere you could get robbed or killed at any time. Avoid it, stay safe.

My wife and I went through this on April 12. After we got to the room, it seemed obvious to us that what was shown on sites like Priceline and hotels wasn’t what we’d find there. The pictures were a lie, and the place was the ugliest in Monterrey. We asked for a refund, but the owner, a Korean lady, didn’t care and kept our money. When we called, we were told lies about someone not approving the refund. This place is fraud, and those companies and the owner won’t give your money back. There are better hotels much closer to the airport. This ping house.

The price was cheap, and the overnight stay was okay until 5 a.m. That’s when I found the office closed, so I couldn’t get the coffee I’d seen there, and there was no hot water for a shower on a 39F morning. I got to the airport rumpled and grumpy, not a great start.
