Provenza Hotel & Suites

The room was literally on the hotel roof, there was no running water in the sink, and the area was run-down. It took three hours to get my key. The hotel felt more like a poorly maintained neighborhood, and the place was terrible and overpriced for what it offered. If you visit Atlixco, don’t stay here.

It was clean, affordable, and quiet, and for the price I paid, it seemed fine. The hotel looks like it’s being renovated little by little, with small details that I imagine will get finished over time.

Terrible service. There’s no parking lot, so they use the street for parking, and the service is awful.

I wouldn’t recommend staying at Provenza. It’s a house set up for a service that doesn’t work, and it’s very expensive for what you get. The shared bathroom may not be such a problem by itself, but it’s in the hallway where people are constantly coming and going. The owner is rude and offensive. Take your time and look for a better option.
