Hotel Beryllos Bacalar

The owners were the kindest hosts, welcoming and helpful while still giving us space to enjoy the place. The facilities were great too: we loved having a stove, oven, microwave, and fridge, along with the lovely pool and garden. Our room was spacious and the beds comfortable. This was my favorite place in four weeks in Mexico!

Rodrigo welcomed us and made the week really pleasant, with good advice about what to see and where to go. We were in Bacalar with family, and choosing this hotel was a great decision. It's six blocks from both the town center and the lagoon, so everything in town is walkable. The rooms were clean and a good size. We'd definitely return.

A sweet little hotel with a pool, all very well kept. We felt comfortable and our room was clean. Maria welcomed us so kindly and was lovely throughout our stay. Oxxo is close by, and Aki (supermarket) is next door. They can also deliver food to the hotel. Thank you, Maria! We were three adults and two children.

There’s a little shop across the road for basic things, though you’ll need a car or taxi to get to the lagoon. I missed having a restaurant for breakfast or dinner, but this is a small place. The rooms were clean and everything worked, and the shared kitchen, fridge, and breakfast spot by the pool were useful. The pool is small but does the job. A nice place to relax without spending too much.
