The staff were very friendly, but couldn't speak English. The room smelled musty and had almost no decor, despite having a huge space set aside for a kitchen where only the sink had been installed. The door lock didn't work properly, and it took many tries to open it. There was a pool, but the sunbeds had no cushions. The property has a gate, though it seemed to stay open all night, and the area didn't seem very safe.

We requested an upper floor and were put in room 102, which was meant to be quiet. Instead, a large water pump right next door kicked in every 90 seconds and buzzed loudly. One receptionist said she'd switch it off, but never did. After waiting half an hour, we returned to ask for another quiet room. They offered two rooms that smelled strongly of damp, for 1040 Mexican pesos. It took more than an hour of negotiating before they finally found another room. The receptionists didn't seem to care about the guests. Such a waste of time.

The staff who looked after us, “ANTONI AND ESMERALDA”, were attentive, and they even gave me towels for my lagoon visit. The hotel was very clean, with spacious rooms that felt new, and the service was excellent. The room rate was very competitive. There's a pool, plenty of parking, and lots of tranquility, so you can enjoy the place without leaving the hotel. I'd stay here again.
