The location is hard to beat, and the price felt fair. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and there's a nice pine smell. It's quiet and laid-back, but still easy to meet and chat with other travelers.

The place is well located, but it felt impersonal and there was nowhere to hang out. The dorm beds seemed close to falling apart, and I felt uneasy sleeping on the top bunk. There was just one toilet and bathroom in the room for eight people, so it was always occupied. Breakfast was meant to run from 8 to 10, but the woman in charge had cleared it away by 9:30. I complained, yet the same thing happened the next day. I wouldn't return.

We trusted the owner because he was so nice and explained the place to us. He knew I had cash in my bag since he had shown me how to get to a bank to exchange money. I went out to the lake with my girlfriend, then realized two minutes later that I'd forgotten my sunglasses. When I came back to the room, the door and my bag were both closed, but I caught THE OWNER LOOKING FOR MY MONEY IN MY BAG. He looked really stressed when I saw him and mumbled that he'd only been looking under the bed.

A friendly vibe near the beach area, with a tiki hut style shelter. They have food and alcohol available.

The location is the only real plus. The Wi-Fi was awful, there was no power outlet by the beds, and the shower had no hot water. The room had no window, so there wasn't any fresh air. It was too hot, and when I asked them to switch on the air conditioning an hour earlier, they didn't care.
