For six nights the noise kept me from sleeping. My room faced the busiest street, with cars and motorcycles going by at all hours, and bars across the road played live music every night. If you're looking for somewhere quiet, this isn't it. I had reserved with a guy named Manuel two months ahead, for the week of the 3/7/25. At check-in, the girl at the front desk couldn't find my reservation. Manuel hadn't penciled me in. She called the owner, and they managed to find me a room. Do your homework and ask questions. You get what you paid for. Cheap.

Close to the bus drop-off in the heart of barra, and a good price for the location. The beds weren't very comfortable, but the hot water was good. You can walk to where it seems all the immigrants from USA and Canada gather. An Oxxo kiosko is nearby, and the entrance has a marlin statue on the main road. The shuttle to Melaque is two blocks away.

Easy walking distance to restaurants and all the cute shops on the way to the malecón and Barra de Navidad letters. Had a great stay.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The chilaquiles and eggs taste good and are very affordable, and the service was really nice. They squeeze the orange juice fresh, so I'd recommend it for a refreshing drink.
