I had to switch rooms because the connecting rooms weren’t soundproof. You could hear through the door, and I noticed the noise as soon as I walked in, so I went back to the lobby. The staff member helped, though she seemed grumpy and unhappy about it after a rough night dealing with the printer. In the second room, there was a puddle from either the fridge or the bathroom, which I photographed. The room was generally clean, with a nice ocean view and a balcony behind sliding doors. It’s on a main street with shops nearby. There’s AC, a hair dryer, towels, toiletries, lotion, a fridge, a desk, and a closet with an iron, ironing board, and hangers that don’t come off. There’s also a TV cabinet and two bottles of water. They clean daily unless you put the sign outside. The bathroom vent didn’t clear the humidity very well. With the AC off it got stuffy, though you could hear the ocean waves.

The ocean and pool views were beautiful, and there was good food at the restaurant downstairs as well as across the street. Restaurants line the street and there’s an Oxxo close by. The mall, Soriana, and a laundromat were about a 25-minute walk away. My only gripe was having to reactivate the keycard every day. I’d definitely come back.

The hotel itself was a nice stay, and the staff were great. The beach nearby was a different story, with lots of big rocks that made it dangerous. I’m returning in June, but plan to stay farther down by the mall, where the beach looked much nicer.

There’s an underground parking garage, fast WiFi, cable TV, a gym, ping pong, a pool, and a Jacuzzi. The rooms were great, with a beautiful view over the ocean, and the place itself was lovely. The restaurant’s buffet was tasty too.
