Casa Mi Tesoro

The listing called it an apartment, but after booking we found out it was only a room, which felt misleading. Getting there was also awkward without a car: InDrive rides needed a QR code to enter, and some entrances to the community weren't available to guests. The room was acceptable, nothing special. Cecile was friendly at first, but then told us the kitchen was off limits despite it being listed as an amenity. A day later she reluctantly let us boil an egg for breakfast. The sink had drainage problems from the start, yet she later said we'd clogged it. There were extra fees for air conditioning and even drinking water. She gave us a bad review because we wore boots and made noise on the stairs, and said we were noisy when closing the room door. The whole stay was uncomfortable, and I wouldn't book it again.

We loved the gated grounds for walking and the pool when we wanted to relax. It's warm, cozy, and feels safe, with Playa Del Carmen and all its stuff close by. The host was really sweet and helpful.

Cecile was such a welcoming host, always smiling and ready to answer questions or offer suggestions. Her house is lovely, cozy, and very clean. We've stayed friends, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

Cecile was incredibly helpful, and we loved the garden looking out over a golf course. The B&B feels luxurious and is in a quiet spot at the edge of town, though restaurants and the beach are still easy to reach.
