Our room was simple, but the hard and soft goods were good quality. We loved staying here, and breakfast cooked to order was included. The servers were attentive, and the breakfast area opens onto the pool and looks out over the ocean. We also had dinner at the Italian restaurant in the Plaza, and it was world-class. We'd definitely book another stay at Plaza Sol.

We stayed for two nights and had a good time. The hotel faces the beach and has a pool, restaurants, a gym, and a bar. Rooms with a terrace overlooking the ocean and pool are the best ones. Parking is underground and attended around the clock. There's a big plaza next door with lots of department stores and restaurants.

The pool area on the top floor has a great view, and we've had a great experience on both of our repeat stays. Service has been excellent too. The one snag is that they don't answer the phone when you call, lol. Use their WhatsApp number if you need to reach them, it's much faster.

It's clean and modern, with nice views, excellent AC, and breakfast included. The hotel is above a commercial building and next to a mall. It feels more "California new" than "traditional Mexican." Check-in takes F.O.R.E.V.E.R. They also require a $1,000MXN incidental charge, which is refunded at checkout. If you're paying cash, make sure you have that extra money available so it doesn't cut into your spending money.

There was just one elevator working during my whole stay, so we were left waiting forever. The woman at the front desk was rude and not helpful at all, though she had time to be on her phone.
