The one service I didn't use was laundry, because the charge felt steep. Each shirt, pair of pants, and other item was priced separately, more like dry cleaning than a normal fee for a load, so we decided against it. I'm not sure how they handle it behind the scenes, but that cost stood out. Everything else made for a really great stay: the staff were warm and helpful, the room spotless, and everything worked as it should. Things felt smooth and well looked after, and I'd happily come back.

The room was great, and this time we had a balcony that my husband and I loved for a romantic dinner. Room service was quick and efficient, and the cochinita pibil was among the best we've had in Mexico. The problem was getting any sleep. After a 12-hour drive the day before, we were looking forward to sleeping in, but a convention was happening right next door in the convention room. People were loud, staff dropped dishes and yelled outside our door, and we woke to clapping and someone speaking over a microphone. When we checked out, things were hectic, and a cop tried to fine me while I was actively putting on my seatbelt. Make sure yours is on before heading out, even if it's busy.

The room and bed were lovely, and I agree with the fabulous review that convinced me to book. Breakfast was a nice continental spread, and there was a rooftop hot tub. It's a block off the malacon, a bit far from the main part of the malecon, but well worth it.

A great price for a clean hotel in a safe, quiet area. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd come back.

Most restaurants, shops, and people-watching spots are around the historic center, and this place is a fair distance from it.
