Copala in Quivira offers a mix of convenience, luxury, and value. There are package deals, discounts, and special offers that make it possible to enjoy an upscale Cabo stay without the usual hefty price tag. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or visiting Cabo for the first time, it promises an unforgettable trip. Its location is just minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, so getting into the city is easy, and there’s no need to take the perilous caratara. The amenities add plenty to the experience: picture-perfect pools, dining with flavors from around the world, and a luxurious spa for some downtime. The properties here range from sprawling villas with panoramic ocean views to elegant condominiums. There are some massive luxury homes that can rival the region’s most opulent accommodations. People often call the place the Disneyland or Beverly Hills of Cabo. For travelers after a lot for their money, Copala in Quivira offers extravagance without the exorbitant price tag.

Our stay in Villa 83 was so relaxing, and we had a memorable time. The home was beautifully furnished, the amenities were great, and our host had thought of everything we might need. Everyone was friendly except for a young woman at the golf course restaurant, but she didn’t spoil the trip. I’ll definitely book Villa 83 again. Thank you, Copala!

Buyer beware: Cabo Coppola isn’t what its website says. These are privately owned condos, and standards vary by owner. Our apartment faced a parking lot and had just one working light bulb, with no usable mirrors in the bedrooms. From the living room and main bedroom we could see the sea in the distance, not the ocean. This felt like an Airbnb, not a resort. The only facilities were a small gym with limited hours and the main clubhouse pool. The pool served a limited menu from 11:30 to 3 p.m., and drinks were available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They only took credit cards. There was also a kiosk selling coffee and a few other items, but it fits two people at a time and is open only from 10 to 3. The concierge is open from 10 to 5. To go anywhere, you have to reserve their shuttle, which runs every half hour but is always late or sometimes doesn’t show up at all. It’s exhausting and misrepresented on their site. We needed a vacation after our vacation. Uber isn’t allowed on the property, so it has to pick you up outside the premises, at a spot on the street. We felt very unsafe, especially as two single women. After a 12 hour journey, we arrived at 8 p.m., waited 30 minutes to get access to the building, then were told we had to take a shuttle to get dinner. It was pathetic, and I suggest booking elsewhere. We were also told we’d have a private pool, but it was a community pool area.

I moved here about a year ago, and I love this little paradise. Feeling blessed 🙏🏻🥰

We booked through AirBnB and had a really great stay in a 2Bedroom 2Bathroom with a full kitchen and a gorgeous view. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the room had smart TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime already set up. We also appreciated the free calls and texts, though cell service was sometimes unreliable. Copala had several beautiful pools, plus a cinema room you can reserve that has Netflix. Around the property, a free shuttle van runs to the nearby sister properties, but you have to call whenever you need a ride and it can take up to 15 minutes. We arranged our airport pickup and drop-off in advance for $25 each. For groceries, we took a cheap Uber to La Comer, which had everything we needed. Check the pantry before shopping so you don’t buy items that are already there. Ubers were inexpensive in general, while taxis could be very expensive. There’s an app listing the food options at each sister property. Some dinner places need reservations, and prices vary quite a bit. The food was generally really good. You can tip, but the restaurants and stores don’t accept cash. Also, only certain Cabo beaches are safe to swim at because the waves can be so strong. Highly recommend.
