Tequila Sunset Marina Sol

Marina Sol is now our go-to place in Cabo. We stayed six nights, and the convenient location, about five minutes from the Marina, Medano beach, and Walmart, made it even better. It’s one of the more affordable resorts with a pool in Cabo. Booking was easy, our room was extremely clean, and the food on site was impressively good. Prices for food, drinks, and activities felt very fair, and the staff were so nice. Special thanks to Gabriel and Alberto for being especially helpful and kind. I’d suggest Marina Sol to anyone looking for a resort in Cabo.

We stayed at Marina Sol for our first visit to Cabo, and the pool and hot tub were so comfortable and relaxing. The resort’s food and drinks were surprisingly fantastic and reasonably priced, too. We could walk everywhere and never needed a taxi. The beach is close, coffee and late-night tacos are up the street, and the marina is about ten minutes away. There are plenty of shops and markets around. In the lobby, there’s a spa, market, bar, concierge, and security, and it always felt safe. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. We had such a good time and will be back soon.

The beds in our room were a little uncomfortable, but we loved the place otherwise. I got a pedicure, ate at the restaurant, and swam in the pool, and enjoyed all of it. The atmosphere, service, food, and amenities were fantastic. There are also tons of restaurants within walking distance, along with Walmart and the beach.

We’re considering staying here and maybe buying a two-bedroom condominium. It’s 35 years old, but very well maintained, and we love the small-resort atmosphere. The pool and hot tub are awesome, and there’s a pull-up up in the middle with TVs, ping-pong tables, and a pool table. The location is ideal for us: it’s right in the center of everything, beside the mall in Cabo San Lucas, about a three-minute walk to Modano beach, and Walmart is approximately 200 yards away. Inside the resort it’s extremely quiet, with no noise from the surrounding streets, and there’s plenty of parking right out front.
