Casa D' los Rios

The room was spacious, with a sofa, small kitchen, comfortable bed, and bathroom. We picked this place for its convenient location and parking. Since it was so hot during our summer family trip, we kept the AC on to stop our candy and snacks from melting. The owner came in repeatedly to turn it off. Later, my aunt stopped by to pick up some gifts we’d brought her. When I entered with her, the owner stepped outside right away and asked, “Is everything okay?” I said yes, but felt confused and taken aback. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like staying with a relative who objected to how we used the space. We’ll probably look for somewhere else next time we’re in Calvillo.

It’s far enough from downtown to avoid its traffic, but still close enough to walk wherever you want. Our room had a king-size bed and AC. The owner offered us a room with its own fridge and microwave, but we turned it down since we eat out every meal. There’s also a shared kitchen with a fridge, store, plates, cups, and utensils for guests who want to cook. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day.

The owners really went out of their way to help us enjoy our week at Casa De Los Rios-Hospedaje. They even offered rides to some tourist spots we wanted to see, then to the airport in Aguascalientes at the end of our stay. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet day and night, and we felt safe throughout. Guests get their own room and front gate keys, so only guests can come and go. My parents, husband, and I stayed in the Deluxe Room in June of 2021. It was spacious enough for four, very clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping and fresh towels offered each day. Shops and places to eat are within walking distance. We had a great experience, felt right at home, and our stay exceeded expectations. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Calvillo, Aguascalientes. Thank you!!!!!

The owners are so nice, and the place feels very clean, safe, and secure. I’d highly recommend it.
