The hotel had a fancy look, a backyard and a poolside area, and the rooms were clean with nice staff. It had apparently only opened four weeks before our stay in December 2019, and we would still recommend it. But we didn't get restful nights because the rooms are badly soundproofed and you can hear everything through the walls. We were told the showers take a while to warm up, but after waiting about ten minutes, then continuing to shower in cold water, the temperature never changed. We also didn't like that adjoining rooms connect through doors that can't be locked.

We couldn't get any information about how to use the facilities, and when we left, nobody in charge turned up. We left the key in the room and went. Booking.com lists this as a hotel, but I wouldn't call it one. Maybe it's a hostel, though I'm not sure. It was hard to find because there's no sign, so we had to rely on the address. There was no parking, only a street entrance, and it filled up quickly. The person who let us in didn't give us a room key, and we never saw her again. Breakfast was advertised as included, but we never got any. When we arrived, there was a pool “party” with people who seemed to be relatives of the person at the door. I wanted to rest after the trip, but the noise and children's yelling were unbearable. The TV remote had no batteries, and we could hear guests talking at night through the walls.

It looks like a house from the outside, with no sign, and it was hard to find. Our rooms were dirty, and they weren't expecting us even though we had a reservation. I imagine the place was nice in its heyday, but today it's very run down. The bathrooms badly need maintenance.

I booked two weeks ahead, but they canceled my room on the very day I made the reservation. Apparently they give priority to whoever rents the whole place. I had to find somewhere else to stay, and they did nothing to sort it out. They simply left me without accommodation. It was terrible.

This isn't a hotel or lodging at all. The owner of the house told us it hadn't been a hotel for a year, yet Booking lets people make reservations. To me, that's a scam.
