The location works perfectly if you’re just passing through, and there’s parking right in front of the room. The hotel has the basics for a night’s stay, including a mini-split air conditioner, mini-fridge, and small TV. The beds are quite hard, though, and the facilities feel run down and poorly maintained. We were confused to find it listed under two names on Google: Carlos V and Granada, the name displayed outside the hotel.

They were renovating the hotel, but it was still the only place that could take me the night before the October 14th eclipse. A lodging platform had canceled my booking twice, and the staff seemed concerned about what had happened. The service was fabulous, and the bed was comfortable. There was air conditioning, a mini-fridge, cold bottled water for sale, and parking directly in front of the room.
