The location next to the mall was handy for shopping and finding food, and the people were very friendly. Our room stayed ice cold with great AC, and the small fridge was useful. We also never had trouble getting into the room or lobby. Some of the upkeep was disappointing. The bathroom had several issues: the shower door wouldn’t close, paint was peeling, and there was no toilet paper. At night, wind made the glass panes in the stairwell flex and rattle so loudly that we couldn’t sleep. I was surprised they didn’t break. During our week there, every elevator was out of service at some point, though maybe we were just unlucky.

The apartments we saw were dirty and looked nothing like the photos. On top of that, renting arrangements seemed to involve people subletting from others who were themselves subletting. Even the cleaning staff and security were complaining about there being too many “owners” scamming unsuspecting tourists. This place was a complete scam. Never again.

I lived there for 13 months and had water problems the entire time. When I moved out, I returned the keys and cleaned the place to their approval, but they still wouldn’t return my 26000 peso deposit. They’ll lie to you and mickey mouse every repair. I strongly recommend not renting there.

The lagoon and distant hotel zone look beautiful from here, and being attached to a mall is convenient. But I stayed in an AirBnb in the building, and “rundown” barely describes it.
