The host Oscar was quick to respond and sent nearby food recommendations, which was really sweet. The outdoor terraces are cute, and each room has its own individual setup. The one beside mine even had an outdoor pool. It’s a unique place, well located for the ADO bus station, though it’s not near the beach if that’s your priority. The building is quite run down, and the rooms look better in the photos. I stayed in room 5. The shower pressure was very low, and the rubber caps need covering to keep smells from the pipes out. Be careful on the stairs when it rains, they get very slippery. I hope the owner renovates the interior, because this could be a dream place.

Oscar, the owner, is great. He speaks English and suggested good restaurants. The ADO bus terminal is just a five-minute walk away, and it’s a good affordable spot before or after a flight. The shower pressure is annoyingly low, but at least the water was warm.

The terrace was a perfect spot to relax, and the room was just right, with a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, and plenty of space. Oscar was one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve met on our travels. The location is great too, with lots of local food nearby and the bus station close by.

I was traveling alone, but the room I had would work well for couples or families too. It’s a clean, comfortable guest house with cheerful decor, in a great and very safe, welcoming neighborhood. The main bus depot is an easy walk away, and it’s extremely good value. Highly recommend.

The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and I slept really well. As a solo traveler, I felt safe. Everything in the room was super clean, right down to the squeaky-clean floor. It’s a perfect little stopover near the ADO station, and Oscar, the owner, communicated really well and was kind, doing what he could to make things better. He even gave me a ride to the ferry dock when he was driving his friend there.
