The staff’s friendly energy made the whole place feel welcoming, and there was enough to keep all of us busy. Our group of three adults and three kids had a blast at Club Med Cancún on 01/03. We spent a lot of time playing volleyball, trying the trapeze, sailing, and snorkeling right off the beach, and fit in some mini-golf too. The food was surprisingly good, with plenty of variety for all six of us. It’s hard to find somewhere the kids stay entertained while adults can relax, but everyone had a great time. We’d go back for the atmosphere alone.

The service at Club Med was the best part of my stay. Everyone we met was helpful and went out of their way for us, and the resort felt relaxing and welcoming. The food was enjoyable, though it wasn’t anything exceptional. Some details around the property also seemed neglected. The outdoor shower sprayed the ceiling more than us. I reported it on day one, but it was never fixed. Even with those issues, I had a pleasant stay. Better food and a little more attention to upkeep would make it much better.

Marci at Hacienda was so sweet and always helped us find our family around the resort. I also loved chatting with Marcos, one of the vendors. We talked for an hour, and he had lots of great insights. Tomas at Soluna bar brought a smile to our faces every time we went. Incredible service from everyone!

We spent plenty of time around the resort for sports, water activities, and the spa, and the food was excellent compared with the basic buffet I remember from my last visit 26 years ago. There are two restaurants as well as a buffet. I had an amazing time with my kids, who are 21 and 18. We stayed in the exclusive Jade section, which had a calm feel, attentive service, a private pool, bar, and concierge. Looking forward to coming back after AUG 2026, when the main pool is due to reopen along with a new resturant.

Being out on the water was great, and Club Med Cancún’s sailing program was fun and well organized. The instructors were patient and friendly, so learning was enjoyable whatever your skill level. Paulo, Mac, and Obed were especially helpful and nice. The rest of the sailing staff were great too, though I can’t remember all their names. I had an awesome time and would recommend it to anyone who likes being on the water.
