Club Melia at Paradisus Cancun, Cancún, Mexico

The food wasn’t the highlight for us, though breakfast was excellent and there was lots of choice. We especially liked the saxophone music during breakfast, the lovely beach, and having a quiet gym to use each morning. The Reserve Adults Only upgrade was worth it for the concierge, lounge, premium drinks, coffee bar, adults-only dining, and Bali beds. My husband and I came to Paradisus Cancun in April 2026 for our 20th anniversary and had a wonderful time. The resort had just reopened after renovations, so everything felt fresh, modern, and very clean. The pools were relaxing, the beach was beautiful, and the grounds were well cared for. The staff were friendly and seemed to truly care about our vacation. Chris, our Reserve Concierge, deserves a special thank you for going above and beyond. We’d gladly come back.

Our family concierge Alejandro made this an unforgettable family vacation. He seemed to know what we’d need before we asked, sorting dinner reservations, suggesting activities for the kids, and pointing us toward local shopping. The hotel itself is beautiful and the food is very good, but the service is what makes it five-star. Everyone was great, and Alejandro went especially far to make sure we were looked after. I’d recommend this hotel to families who want attentive service and a memorable stay.

We were there to celebrate a graduation, and the team at Paradisus Cancún helped make the trip unforgettable. We’ll be recommending it to family and friends, and hope to return. One practical idea: a QR code for tipping staff would help. We ran through our cash quickly and there were several people we wanted to thank but couldn’t tip because we’d run out. The standout people for us were Alejandro and Rommel from Family Concierge. They anticipated what we needed, gave thoughtful recommendations, and made our family feel valued. The restaurants, pool crew, housekeeping, bartenders, and servers were wonderful too. Every interaction felt positive, and the staff clearly take pride in making guests’ stays memorable. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained, and from arrival we felt the warmth and genuine hospitality.

We had a great time at Kao, Blue Agave, and Vibra. At Blue Agave, don’t miss the caramel flan ice cream dessert, and at Vibra our waiter Omar gave especially attentive, high-end service. The activities were fun too. We enjoyed the Cocoa Ceremony and cocktail master class with attentive staff, including Mauricio, Daniel, and bartender Xavier. Traveling with kids is a good reason to pick this hotel. The Kidsdom team, especially Maylin, Fernanda, Esmeralda, Alondra, and Vianey, were so caring and organized. Our normally shy son couldn’t wait to go each day. The family concierge service also made everything smoother. Erick Mejenes was always available, answered our questions, booked restaurants and spa appointments, and helped set up family celebrations like birthdays. From the minute we arrived, the hotel made us feel welcome and looked after, and his attention and genuine care made the trip special.
