The resort is close to Cancun International Airport, which made getting there and leaving easy, especially with family. We had a great stay at Dreams Natura. Our bright, spacious room had amazing views, and waking up to the ocean was a highlight. Javier went above and beyond to get seats together at the pools for our large group. The service from him was a real standout. The Italian restaurant was my favorite, with excellent food and reliably good service. We didn’t have a bad meal at any of the à la carte places. The buffet was decent, though it didn’t stand out compared with resorts we’ve visited over the past 15 years. The Preferred Club breakfast at Bluewater Grill was a calmer, noticeably better experience, so I’d recommend the upgrade. Plan ahead and bring what you’ll need. The resort shops charge a lot for kids’ toys, Yeti cups, hygiene products, and basic essentials. The resort has lovely rooms, strong service, and solid dining, especially with Preferred Club. A little preparation helps make it a great Cancun getaway.

Daniel and Fernando were genuinely lovely, friendly staff members, and the grounds look attractive. The resort is in a great location, and cleanliness was okay overall. But for the price, our room felt worn and a bit grungy. The food was disappointing, and the drinks were just okay. At this package price, I’d have expected a fresh piña colada instead of premix poured from a jug. My husband also got food poisoning, which put a real damper on the trip. Pool chairs were hard to get unless you went early, since the pool filled up quickly. We wouldn’t pay extra for Preferred Club either, as we noticed very few differences or added value. The resort has potential, but the food, drinks, room condition, and value didn’t justify the cost for us.

Our February 2026 stay at Natura was better than expected for both food and service. The Preferred swim-out room was fabulous, clean, well equipped, and well stocked, though the AC could have been stronger. Poolside service from Hector, Javier, and Alejandro was excellent. I just wish the Preferred Club pool were actually adults-only as advertised. Gilberto in the Preferred Club lounge was the best. Room service breakfasts were good quality, quick, and on time. We had excellent dinners at Portofino, where waiter Josue is the best, and at Himitsu, with excellent service from Alejandro. The food could use more spice and better actual Mexican dishes. El Patio disappointed us and seemed to try too hard to be fancy. I wouldn’t eat at Oceana or Bordeaux again. Drink quality varied, but was better at the Preferred spots and when we asked for specific drinks.

We left for another hotel after the warning signs at check-in, then had to return for a wedding celebration. Getting onto the property was difficult, and it felt as though the hotel was punishing us for deciding not to stay. Staff from the bellmen to the front desk seemed to know we had left. They kept demanding payment without explaining what the charges were for or why they applied. The whole interaction felt like an attempt to get money from guests who might not know better. The trouble started at check-in, when the front desk attendant berated us for taking time to read the paperwork instead of explaining it. I’ve stayed at many resorts and never seen such poor manners or service from a front-of-house team. Communication was dismissive, the attitude unwelcoming, and the lack of billing transparency deeply concerning. At this price, there are much better options nearby that treat you like a valued guest. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The resort was a lovely fit for our family of 16. We enjoyed every restaurant, found meals for everyone, and thought the food was excellent. The app was easy to use, the resort layout made getting around simple, and the staff were kind and accommodating. The grounds crew pruned the plants and cleaned every morning. Our beautiful room had a great layout. There were so many special moments. It was my partner’s birthday the day after we arrived, and staff quickly put a banner on our door while he was in the room, managing to surprise him. They also left cake the next day, which he loved. Drisdey from entertainment got us excited to try the daily classes and lessons. She’d stop by our pool cabana to tell us what was happening, and her kindness, humor, and energy made us want to join. It was nice seeing a familiar face each day. Omar, the sommelier, led an informative and funny tequila tasting. We learned how to taste tequila properly and tried several kinds, including mezcal, with small food pairings. It was nice to run into him around the resort afterward. Martin’s ceviche class was informative, fun, and delicious, and his octopus and tuna ceviches were incredible. It made us eager to try Oceana, which quickly became my favorite restaurant. My little cousin enjoyed making a dish to share, and staff put our creation on a new plate so we could bring it back to the family at the pool. Miguel at Desires gave a very informative margarita lesson. I got called up to the bar cart to make a drink for everyone to taste and rate, which was a lot of fun. At Bordeaux, Roberto brought humor and class to the table, was patient with my family, refilled drinks at just the right time, and made suggestions when asked. The food was exceptional. Santiago at World Cafe greeted us each morning with a big smile. We kept an inside joke going all week about cactus leaves after my partner mistook them for green beans. He made us laugh, remembered our usual drinks, and gave each day a great start. Estephanie served our cabana on the first day and was attentive, funny, and personable while we spent nearly the whole day in the pool. One of my favorite moments was meeting the caretaker of the resort’s hawk, which helps control the grackles. He was kind and generous with his time, and told us about his work, his relationship with the bird, and its history. Gregorio made our hibachi meal at Himitsu entertaining and delicious. Thanks to everyone who made the trip so memorable.
