Breakfast at the little restaurant downstairs was really good, and the staff were so friendly. They also gave us tips for our trip. This is a cozy little hostel with what you need as a backpacker, including a small kitchen, a rooftop terrace, and clean, decent bathrooms. The rooms worked well for us too. Definitely worth a visit!

The location near the beach was great, and the AC was decent, but the place itself was noisy. The volunteers didn’t do much to include everyone, especially people who weren’t fluent in Spanish. Breakfast was eggs, toast, and waffles. It lacked fruit, and when I asked about it, I felt like I was imposing on whoever happened to be there. Nobody was specifically assigned to make breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend it.

There’s a small food place directly below the hostel, and their food is pretty good. The hostel itself is cozy and has what you need: a bed, large showers, clean toilets, and a mini kitchen for making your own food. The staff were really nice and chatty. The location is very good, in the hotel zone.

The volunteers were lovely and helpful, and I had a great five-night stay. There’s a rooftop patio and good company, plus the beach, a 24-hour pharmacy, and a burrito shop downstairs are all two minutes away. Once I was inside the hostel, the music from downstairs was barely noticeable. I’d come back and highly recommend it. As of Sept 2/24.

This was my second stay, and I love this hostel. It’s clean, everything works, and it’s just steps from Chac Mool beach. The new owners have started renovating, so it should get cuter. There are three little restaurants right downstairs, and it’s close to everything. I’ll visit again.
