The place was immaculate, secure, quiet, and spacious, with cotton bedding and comfortable super king-size beds. For a family of four staying a couple of nights, it was a great spot to get some rest, especially after a long flight or before one. We looked into lots of hotels and had visited before, so we feel we made the right choice. If you don’t need to be right across from the beach and in the hotel zone, this is a good place to be, at least for now. There’s a market in front and nice places to eat nearby. Don’t miss the tortas across the corner. My fuzzy ten-year-old daughter was so happy eating them! Just know they’re building more single rooms behind the pool. It’s a bit smaller than the pictures suggest because they’ve put up a temporary privacy wall, but it was still refreshing between activities.

The only real drawback was the shower. The water starts hot but turns lukewarm after about two minutes. It was manageable, though, and I had no trouble showering. I stayed on the second floor and couldn’t hear noise from other rooms, so it was easy to relax. The room was cleaned daily, everything was well maintained, and the bed was soft while still feeling supportive. The location, right in front of Mercado 28, is handy for shopping and getting around. Staff were friendly and helpful, and some spoke English. Wi-Fi was available throughout the property. It slowed down occasionally but worked fine for everyday use. A clean, comfortable stay with friendly service and a great location.

The king-size bed was a nice bonus, and the AC worked well. Hotel 28 is within walking distance of pretty much everything you need, which was a big plus for us. Francesco and the staff were really friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. The place was clean and well maintained throughout our stay, and they even gave us recommendations and hookups for nightlife. We had a comfortable, convenient visit and would definitely come back. Gracias!

We came to stay while my mom and I had cosmetic dental and medical appointments, and the location worked really well for us. The rooms were very clean, and the kitchen and cooking setup were ideal on nights when we didn’t feel like eating out. When we did go out, there were several great restaurants within walking distance. The staff were especially friendly and accommodating. I give this hotel five stars.

The location makes it easy to get to different attractions, and there are several convenience stores nearby, with the market right in front of the hotel. The place was spotless, the beds were so comfortable that I slept like a baby, and the staff were amazing and friendly. Well worth a stay.
