Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan - Adults Only - All Inclusive

The resort was compact and convenient, so nothing felt far away. Nightlife was awesome, with great performers and a fun indoor/outdoor entertainment setup. The mariachi band and Michael Jackson show were incredible. Rubi and Armando at the Elite Club pool remembered our names each day and made us feel welcome. Rubi was top-notch. Danny from the entertainment team was fantastic, as was the pregnant entertainer, whose energy and personality made every event more enjoyable. Rebecca worked tirelessly to keep the Elite pool area and restrooms clean and safe. She was wonderful, and I hope she gets recognition and tips, because she deserved them. Our housekeeper on the 11th floor in Room , I believe her name was Ace, was fantastic too. The room was always spotless and fully stocked. The buffet ended up being my favorite meal option. The restaurants were hit or miss, but Krystal stood out and made my birthday dinner feel special. We came back to a handwritten note, champagne, and dessert in our room, such a thoughtful touch. We didn't eat at the Elite Club restaurant because its menu felt limited and didn't wow us. One small surprise we liked was that they served Pepsi instead of Coke. The only downsides were the seaweed and water conditions, though staff did a great job cleaning the beach, and we wished the rooms had proper blankets because it was either too hot or too cold at night. We had an amazing time, especially thanks to the incredibly friendly staff and excellent drinks. I highly recommend upgrading to the Elite Club. My wife and I had the best experience, 12/10. Huge thanks to the whole staff for making it memorable. We'll absolutely book again, and book Elite Club, you'll be upset you didn't.

The drinks at the pool bar were tasty, though not very strong, and the lobby bar had fancier options. There are five restaurants for dinner, plus a buffet with lots of choices at breakfast and lunch. The resort and room were very clean, with housekeeping coming by daily. Check-in was quick and the staff were courteous and friendly. The checkout line was long. You can also get free transport to other hotels for their parties. A good budget-friendly all-inclusive.

The pool entertainment was a highlight for us. The team played music throughout the day and ran games that people of all ages and types could enjoy. Alexis, Fawny and the rest of the team were always smiling, friendly and professional. The pool servers were just as kind and quick, and always easy to find when we wanted a drink. I’ve never seen people work so hard to make guests feel special and have a great vacation.

The Renova Spa was amazing. Angie and Lupita were warm, professional and calming during our massages, and we left feeling completely relaxed. The steak house was our favorite restaurant, especially the surf and turf. Our waiter Efran was very friendly and explained the food and drinks in detail. We enjoyed the vacation and found the staff extremely helpful and attentive. The Elite club upgrade felt worth it, though the Elite club restaurant wasn’t a favorite. The Elite pool was pretty basic, but the cabana was nice. We kept returning mainly for our server Ruby, who was phenomenal and always served us with a smile.
