Mondrian Cancun All Inclusive

The rooftop pool was my favorite part and probably the highlight of the trip. The resort looked beautiful, though it felt pretty small, and I came away neither unhappy nor especially impressed. Maybe I've been spoiled by other all-inclusives, but the number of five-star reviews surprised me. The staff were sweet, friendly, and accommodating, and I appreciated their hospitality. Still, the food was horrible overall, especially at the beach club, and the drinks tasted extremely watered down. Club access didn't seem to add much. Room service stopped at 10:30 PM and had a $10 fee, which was disappointing at an all-inclusive. On our last night we left the resort for dinner because we couldn't keep eating the food. The beach might have been nice, but the sargassum was awful. At other all-inclusive resorts I've visited, staff usually clean it up throughout the day. I didn't really see that happening here.

Noe was our favorite. He went out of his way to take care of us and has the kindest heart. Cesar from the entertainment staff was also incredible at leading events. We had Vantage Club access, which I'd recommend for the quieter, more relaxing rooftop infinity pool and its amazing view. Taking the shuttle to the beach was quick and easy, and it was nice to get off the property for a bit. We always found chairs at the beach or pool, even in the middle of the day or late afternoon. There's lots to do, from water cycling and margarita making classes to a Mexican market and live music. The rooms were beautiful, very spacious, modern, and new, with remarkable views. The pools, beach, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful. Food was the one part I didn't fully enjoy. It was all edible, and plenty of people liked it. Compared with other all-inclusives, it was probably pretty good, just not amazing for me.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island was beautiful, beyond beautiful. We had a really fun week, the service was out of this world, and the food was great. The drinks were top-notch too. I planned the trip for a 25th birthday, and it turned into the best birthday ever. I had help from Ivon at November Destination. She made the whole thing easy, informative, and fun. I wouldn't change a thing, and we'll definitely use her for all our travel. We can't wait to come back soon!

The Beach Club was my favorite, with its great look and beautiful beach and pool area. I also had a relaxing time at the pool. Caesar did a great job hosting the hotel's activities. At the beach club, Edwardo served great drinks and gave us great service. Sami, Ivan, and Olivia were awesome servers at Ennea, and Esteban looked after us at Aglio. The breakfast buffet servers were all great too, and I loved the variety each morning. The staff overall were really friendly and made the trip worthwhile. The amenities are beautiful. Hope to come back soon.
