Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Our two-week honeymoon at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres was fantastic. The resort is beautiful, new, and spotless, with tropical greenery, peaceful grounds, a romantic feel, and huge rooms. All the restaurants were good. Bordeaux and El Patio were our top two, and we went to the seaside grill every morning for a breakfast with great variety and quality in a lovely beachfront setting. The staff were the real highlight. Everyone was friendly, smiling, and eager to help. A special thanks to Hugo, who served us at the preferred pool and beach Bali beds, pool concierges Celeste and Brandon, Victor Rodriguez at El Patio, Sixto at the Seaside Grill, and our butlers Angel & Rafa. Please look after your staff, they’re all great people! We thought Preferred Club was worth the upgrade, mostly for its quieter pool and relaxing bar, where live music played before dinner. Our main complaint was noise from large groups during a wedding and especially a work conference. One day about 20 people were shouting and playing music from a speaker at the relaxing preferred pool. It seemed like they should have been directed to the social pool. Thankfully this only happened for a night or two, but if it were more frequent, it would put me off the hotel. We’re very happy with our honeymoon choice. If you’re considering coming, you won’t be disappointed!

The Weddings Department made us feel confident throughout the planning process. Destination weddings have lots of moving parts, and challenges do come up, but the team kept everything organized and smooth. They were professional, responsive, attentive, and clearly cared about the event going well. I especially want to recognize Maria. She handled a few concerns with patience, professionalism, and follow-through. She listened, communicated clearly, and worked toward fair solutions. As a travel professional who trusts resorts with clients’ most important celebrations, I really value that kind of accountability and service. On site, Ingrid, Valeria, and Maria were sweet and attentive, adding thoughtful touches to make the couple feel special. I work as a destination wedding specialist with resorts across Mexico and the Caribbean, and recently planned a wedding at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres. The property is stunning, the food exceptional, the service excellent, and the guest experience was everything you’d hope for in a luxury wedding resort. My clients were well cared for, and the wedding was beautifully executed. The whole team did a wonderful job. I’d happily recommend this resort to future couples and look forward to working with the team again.

We felt thoroughly pampered during our week here. Our Preferred Club butlers, Demetrio and Benjamin, helped us at every turn, and Martin and Angel made the pools fantastic. The resort was spotless, with consistently impressive service and staff. The property is large, yet somehow felt like a boutique hotel, with plenty of thoughtful extras to help you relax. I’d read lots of reviews before coming and didn’t experience any of the negatives they mentioned. There’s construction next door, but we didn’t hear it at all, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Highly recommend this Secrets resort.

WILLY at the grill was professional, friendly, and memorable, and the grounds really are beautiful. But that wasn't enough to make this feel like the quiet luxury resort we remembered. We’ve visited for three years in a row as a married couple, and this time the atmosphere felt more like spring break. Guests flew drones around the property, and one came dangerously close to hitting us in the face. We also heard loud music from several rooms, even though speakers are against resort policy. No one seemed to enforce that rule, which made it hard to relax, especially after paying extra for a swim-out room. We stayed two weeks and heard nothing from our assigned concierge during the first one. In week two, a different concierge contacted us and offered to connect on WhatsApp. We’re low-maintenance travelers who want a calm, beautiful escape. The resort no longer gives us that peaceful experience, and with nearby resorts under construction, the area may get busier and noisier. If you want a party-focused stay, you might enjoy it. For peace, relaxation, and a real luxury experience, I’d look elsewhere. The grounds are lovely, but appearances don’t tell the whole story.
