The hotel and rooms are dated, but our room was clean and had no musty smell. The staff were great, and there are good coffee spots nearby. It’s right downtown, close to ADO and other transport. Parking was fairly easy to find.

The room was humid and loud, and the shower barely worked. It was a terrible hotel, the worst I’ve stayed in. The towel was disgusting, and the room was very old with poor facilities. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room, though you can borrow one at the desk. When I tried using it, the power shut off. Staff said I’d have to turn off all the lights to use the dryer. Don’t come here.

The location is perfect, and the hotel is nice, with a huge room for a pretty low price and a nice shower. Staff were friendly, but they didn’t take us to the room or even mention that it was on the third floor, so we had to find it ourselves. We’re not used to fancy service, but every other hotel or hostel has shown us to our room and brought our towels and key card. That felt a bit lazy.

I found this a handy place to stay before heading out by bus from Cancun. The bus depot is an easy seven-minute walk away, and it’s close to convenience stores and other useful places. The pool looked beautiful, and I wish I’d had time to use it. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re well equipped with the basics. Shower pressure was just decent, and I only needed the hot tap. My one small gripe was that there were no outlets beside the bed, so I had to run my sleep apnea machine cord across the room. Luckily it’s long.
