Coral Mar at Cancun is quiet, with a lagoon view that feels like paradise, yet it's just a short ride from the excitement. Getting a cab or Uber when you want to head out is easy. You can take excursions to islands or to Tulum and Cobá. My daughter swam with dolphins, and I swam in the underground water. There's plenty to do, or you can just relax by the pool. The place is immaculate, beautiful, safe, and feels like home. The attentive staff and the on-site bar and restaurant and travel agency were great. I went to a wine tasting hosted by Andy, the restaurant manager. It was amazing, with exceptional food pairings, and he makes good burgers too.

We were all in our 20s and spent a week at Coral Mar. It's low-key and relaxing, with a lovely breeze by the lagoon. When we wanted to go out, we just used Uber. The staff were amazing, and the tours and adventures we booked through them were well organized. We all had massages, and they were the best. Diego behind the bar was awesome, and we had a great week with him. Raul and Barbara were helpful with our questions. The kitchen was amazing too. The menu is limited, but everything we tried was phenomenal, and it was nice to have a quick bite there. Our cleaner did a great job, and the rooms were always spotless. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend it.

We had the peaceful, beautiful vacation we hoped for. The service staff were so kind and helpful, and the on-site restaurant and bar are well worth trying for the great food and drinks. Daily housekeeping left the room SO CLEAN, with fun towel designs each day. There’s also a massage therapist who comes to the property and works right on the beach in a cute enclosed hut. It was magical. I can't say enough good things, and we'll be back.

We were happy with our choice among the Hotel Zone hotels. The two bedroom unit was roomy and comfortable, with big TVs, and the WiFi worked fine. For some reason, only the living room TV could connect to the Internet for Netflix and YouTube. The resort is quiet and the staff are friendly. It's outside the center of the hotel zone, but Uber rides and tours were easy and convenient. There's no expensive all-inclusive food package to buy, and the on-site restaurant serves good Mexican food and drinks at reasonable prices.
