We’ve been coming here for more than a decade. Judit and Terry at the front desk are great, as are Horacio and Hugo in security. Antonio, the gardener, is an amazing person, and Nena is a lovely housekeeper. Thank you all.

Casitas de las Flores is all about privacy and personal attention, and it’s clearly not for everyone. If you want an “all inclusive” plastic wristband, try one of the Barcelo resorts. We went to the one in Ixtapa, and amazingly it both sucks and blows. There are other places and beaches, but this one is like no other in every sense of the word. It’s made for people like us who want a very private stay and personal attention.

From Manzanillo Airport, this Mexican Pacific Coast resort is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away, and it’s 2.5 hours from Puerto Vallarta. If you’re planning a visit, check out casita Mango for rentals.
