The hotel is right on the beach, and our rooms were comfortable, with a nice bathroom and pool and beach towels included. The listed amenities really were provided, including the fridge. The rooms are up some stairs, so that could be an issue for some people. I enjoyed the friendly little dogs and cat, too. There’s no food at the hotel, though delivery is apparently available, and you have to buzz the owners when taking a car in or out. They responded promptly.
I’m a kilometre from town, and Sandra and Peter were great hosts. I asked if they had a bike, and they found one for me. I used it a lot.
The owners are friendly, and the hotel itself is very nice. It’s a relaxing spot by the pool or on the balcony, but getting into town takes some effort: the center and restaurants are about a mile away, and taxis don’t regularly pass the hotel. You can get a moto taxi back. I’d pick up lunch and bring something back for dinner that’s fine cold, since there’s a fridge in the room but no way to heat food.
Peter, the owner, was kind and offered helpful suggestions for restaurants and places to hang out. It’s a four-room place about a mile from the center, roughly a 15-minute walk. The rooms were clean, and Wi-Fi is available, though you may need to be near the pool for a good signal.
The owner was really friendly, and the room had a fridge and coffee machine. It’s a nice, quiet place, though quite far from the city. The one thing we didn’t like was that the sea water wasn’t clear.
