AB Bed and breakfast

The room may be spacious and well located, but the uncomfortable bed and shower made it impossible to relax after a day of sightseeing. I could feel every spring in the mattress. Water pooled in the shower, and sometimes there was no water at all. After five minutes my feet were sitting in the stagnant water. Honestly, it’s not worth it, and I’d look for another place.

The location was perfect, but everything else made this stay a nightmare. There was no electricity, and once it came back, the shower had no water. The TV had no signal, there was no internet for work, and the mini-split AC didn’t work. The mattress was ancient and every spring could be felt. The pillowcases and pillows had cigarette burns, the room smelled like dirty feet, and street or hallway noise carried right in. Service left a lot to be desired. They should have a generator. With everything in such bad shape, I feel like I overpaid.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and for the price it was fantastic. I needed somewhere urgently, and the person helping me was really kind. It’s very close to the city center. I’d recommend it, especially for a trip with friends or family.

The location is a big plus, just steps from Huitziloporky and the main plaza, with practically everything nearby. You get a basic room with a TV, a mini-split AC with heating, and a shower. No shampoo, carpet, coffee maker, or microwave. There’s no parking, but street meters are available, and for the price the location is very good. Reservations are online, then you get a code to open a small box with your room key. I’d arrive with the reservation and talk to the manager, who can explain the room number, key box code, door code, and check-in. There’s no lobby, everything is accessed remotely with passwords. I’m not sure why it’s called a “Bed and Breakfast,” since there’s no breakfast or dining area.
