After 10, there was no staff available, and we couldn’t get out of the hotel. An Uber driver helped us get the police involved, and they opened the door remotely. Nobody apologized or explained why the staff had left. The place is centrally located, but there are other nearby options with 24/7 access and none of this hassle. Maybe it’s fine if you go to bed early and don’t mind being locked in, but it’s a safety hazard.

I’d never stayed in a suite before, and I loved this one. We were on the 4th floor, and neither bathroom had hot water. The capital’s water service gets shut off at night or at certain times of the day 😔. Since it was hot season, the cool bathrooms didn’t bother me, but it’s something they should fix either way. I’d still stay there again 😉.

Caprichos is a cafe too, with a broad food menu. The coffee’s good, but the food is just average.

We came from Barcelona and had a really good experience. The hotel is beautiful, service is excellent, and the location is great. We’ll definitely be back!
