Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chihuahua

The place was super clean and the staff were really kind, and I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are a decent size. But there wasn't any way to tell staff not to clean, so I got woken up a couple of times in the morning. We also had to ask for extra blankets, towels, and pillows, even though we'd told them there was more than one of us.

Manuel at the front desk was great, and the rest of the staff were good too. The hotel is handy if you're on the highway, allows dogs, and has a good breakfast. The building itself has seen better days: the carpet needs cleaning, the towels are fraying, and a double room still only comes with two towels. Plaster is also peeling from an outside wall. Hope they can put more into the facilities.

The security guard was very nice the whole time, but I wouldn't stay here again. The photos make the place look better than it is, and it didn't feel worth the price. They seem to skimp on everything, from bath supplies and water to breakfast.

Everything else was a solid OK, and breakfast is very good. One small suggestion: add a griddle so guests can warm tortillas one at a time. We saw a staff member heating the whole package in the microwave.
