The internet kept cutting out, which is why I took off a star. The pool also looks bigger on the website than it really is. Still, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the staff were lovely. Bring a book if unreliable Wi-Fi would bother you. Otherwise, it’s a terrific place. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

Right in the central part of Cholula, this place has a great Hacienda feel and lovely decor. I enjoyed walking around to see the different areas. The rooms are spacious, clean, and original, mixing old and new. Breakfast was good and included, and there’s a restaurant, a pool, and parking.

Room Agave has a nice rustic look and feels spacious and airy. Everyone on staff is friendly, though only some of them speak English. The hotel sits on a small street lined with different shops, and you can walk to both Cholula Centro and the historic cathedral.

We stumbled on this place while looking for somewhere to stay in Cholula, and it turned out to be a great choice. The renovated colonial house has about 15 rooms, a spa, and a climate-controlled pool. It’s just four blocks from Cholula’s main square and a couple more from the Cholula pyramid/church.
