Hotel Vistamar

I stayed two days, and the service was poor from the start. The receptionist didn’t make us feel welcome, and our door handle was nearly hanging off. Nobody had told us not to switch off the outside light, but I was threatened with being kicked out after we turned it off. At checkout, they charged us for a towel with hair dye on it, which I didn’t realize they couldn’t bleach out. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend Front View Hotel.

There were cockroaches in my room, and the noise from loud music next door was awful. I called reception at 3 a.m., but nobody answered. It was a bad experience, and I don’t recommend this place.

I stayed four nights, and the toilet never flushed properly. I reported it on the first day, and maintenance tried to fix it twice, but it still didn’t work. The staff said they couldn’t do anything, and wouldn’t even lend me a plunger. There are cheaper hotels that are better. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The Penthouse had no water at the sink, and the shower wouldn’t drain, so water flooded into the hallway. There was no on-call manager. When we complained, they said they were full and couldn’t move us, and the manager said she wasn’t authorized to offer a discount. A terrible experience.
