City Express Plus by Marriott Santa Fe

Nice view and a good location. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast could be better.

The lobby staff were super nice. I wasn’t sure about my room, so they showed me other options and let me choose what suited me best. I’m grateful to them. The rooms are small, but renovated, clean, and have what you need. The location is the hotel’s real value. Service was okay except at breakfast and in the restaurant, where it was very hard to get anything. The free breakfast isn’t very good, and the paid one felt like too much money for what you got.

Getting to the hotel was very difficult. Breakfast costs 320, while the free option is just fruit and stale bread. My room had a big leak at the air conditioner, right above the bed. The dripping water kept waking me up, about ten times. I told the receptionist, but she just ignored me.

The room was clean, though very small, as you’d expect at an express hotel. They didn’t provide a hand towel or a shower mat. There weren’t enough staff to help, and the woman at the front desk was really rude. The location was okay, with two restaurants on the ground floor, though they were quite expensive. It’s a decent place for a short stay.
