The suite we booked wasn’t usable because the restroom didn’t work and the hot tub was rusty. Service was awful, and nobody apologized. We had two dogs, with a 350 charge for each pet. Since there wasn’t another suite and they offered us a regular room instead, we asked for a refund. The woman initially refused, but after speaking with her manager she canceled the reservation. We found another hotel, LA VENTA INN, which was clean and new, with an easy check-in. Best of all, they didn’t charge extra for the dogs. You don’t find places like that often.

The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, and they speak English if you need help with parking or anything else. I was only there for one evening, but the hotel is huge and the pool is a great size.

We got our money back and went somewhere with friendlier people. The suite was dirty and the toilet wouldn’t flush, and instead of sorting it out, the staff gave us attitude. They were rude and seemed to know nothing about hospitality. Don’t go.

We couldn’t sleep without earplugs because the air conditioner was so loud. The pool was closed for planned maintenance all day, and nobody had told us in advance. Our room was dirty, the staff were rude, and I had to kill two big cockroaches. Don’t stay here.
