City Express Junior by Marriott Ciudad Juarez Consulado

Isai, the chauffeur, went way beyond what he had to do and made our stay a great experience. He’s why I’d recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place in CD Juarez. Five stars for that service.

I booked three nights but left after just one because I needed to work on my computer and the WiFi was too slow. The staff didn’t care and couldn’t help, so I lost the money for two nights and had to move. Holiday Inn nearby had faster internet, larger rooms, better staff and breakfast, and was much more modern. Pick Holiday Inn!

The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, were kind, polite, and attentive. They made me feel welcome and safe from the moment I arrived, and it felt like they cared about guests as people. The rooms were simple, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel was well maintained. I spent two weeks at City Express Junior in Ciudad Juárez during a really important time in my life. The location made the whole immigration process less stressful: the Mexican Consulate, medical exam office, and fingerprinting building were all within walking distance. Breakfast was included, and there were excellent food options nearby. Some of the best meals I’ve had in Mexico were just a short walk away. I was touched by how kindly the staff treated the three stray cats living near the property. That compassion made the place feel more personal. I’ll also remember the late night gatherings outside, with families sharing stories, laughter, and nerves. Many of us were going through the same journey, and the quiet bonds from those two weeks will stay with me. If you’re heading to Juárez, especially for consulate appointments, I wholeheartedly recommend City Express Junior. I’m grateful I stayed there. It felt like a safe haven, full of warmth and genuine humanity.

The food had no taste, and the maids made a lot of noise yelling to each other over the walkie talkie or radio while cleaning rooms. For what they charge, the place is pretty basic. I don’t recommend this hotel. There are lots of places with better prices and service. Thankfully, I’d only paid for a few nights when I found somewhere better.
