The location is good if you want to be near the beach, and the people and service were good too. But the room didn't look like the pictures, smelled bad, and had a water leak by the toilet. I don't recommend it, since I think you can find better places for the money.

The pools were very dirty, with dust from ongoing renovations nearby, yet guests were still allowed to swim there. The rooms also felt old and dirty, and even after I asked, the cleaning wasn't done well. They should update the online photos and finish the work sooner. I had to wait an hour for beach towels because they weren't ready at 9:30. We ate breakfast there once, but the menu was limited and overpriced. I'm not coming back, and I'm surprised a hotel like this has 5 stars.

A friend highly recommended this restaurant for my spring break trip to Tampico, but I waited over 30 minutes without anyone taking my order, even though the place wasn't full. I eventually left without getting help. If you're visiting from out of town, don't waste your time.

This is a very nice hotel, but the housekeeping needs attention. There were several hairs in the shower and a lot of sand on my room floor. Since the beach is so close, they should be more thorough about cleaning the floors. The sinks also need checking because they're clogged, and some maintenance is overdue.
