The gym equipment wasn’t working, and for what it cost I expected the Wi-Fi to work too. The staff, though, were very friendly and helpful.

Wi-Fi doesn’t work, so download anything you’ll want before you get there. The hotel was included in the La Huaxteca Tour guides package deal and was budget friendly. It’s an older place, but very clean and looked after. Breakfast came with the package, and the restaurant offered different dishes, including a buffet with chilaquiles, huevos revueltos, and fruit. The food exceeded my expectations, and having meals on-site meant we didn’t have to go far.

A nice base in the center of the huasteca region for visiting the Waterfalls and coming back afterward. The floors, main entrance, and restaurant had recently been renewed. The AC worked well, the beds were good, and the food was okay. Service in the restaurant was a little slow.

The maids and helpers were wonderful, but the front desk receptionists were awfully rude. My room smelled moldy, the Wi-Fi wouldn’t work, and the beds were very uncomfortable. They charge P100 for a lost key, which I think is outrageous.
