Breakfast came with the stay, and the chilaquiles with eggs were good quality, freshly made, and served very quickly. The room itself was dated and had no outside window. It was fairly clean, though there was mould in the bathroom, and the pillows were comfy with clean white sheets. Noise was a problem at night: the air conditioner kept making a steady sound even when switched off, and the bathroom fan was louder still. We were told the staff didn't know how to book a taxi for our early bus, but we found one on the street the next morning at the taxi stand across the road. We stayed four nights during a Huasteca Tour.

The location is great and the price was good, but rooms are close enough that hallway sounds carry. The motion sensor lights outside also shine into your room at night whenever someone walks by, so light sleepers may be disappointed. The garage is offsite, about half a block away. Also, there was construction noise late at night and early in the morning.

The buffet was very good, and the coffee was a 10/10. I had an excellent stay: the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and pleasant, and the amenities were good too. You can reach all the services on foot in about ten minutes, thanks to the convenient location.
