The pool area is nice, and breakfast was okay. The hotel is old and only so-so maintained, though it’s right in the city center. You can hear the building’s HVAC rumbling throughout, and it made it hard to sleep.

I couldn’t get to the city and tried to cancel, but they wouldn’t refund any part of my booking. They weren’t going to use or clean the room, yet still kept USD$100. I found them unhelpful and unwilling to be flexible. Don’t waste your money here.

The employees are nice, and the hotel itself is pleasant. Breakfast and parking are included, and the price isn’t bad. But the room listing was misleading: I paid for a balcony with no notice that it depended on availability, and in reality I should’ve paid less. I’d rather stay at a larger hotel with better pools.

It’s clean, pleasant, and centrally located, but the breakfast buffet needs work. The melon should have been thrown out, the cereal spoons were too small, and there were no lids for the coffee. Pastry choices were limited, and there were no bananas to cut into the cereal. Little details are what separate a great breakfast from one that’s just okay.

I only stayed one night, but they took care of every request I made. The staff are genuinely friendly, and breakfast was excellent. If you want a hotel that looks after you, this is it.
