The room felt dirty, the bathroom was dirty too, and there was no hot water in the shower. The linens didn’t smell freshly washed. Around the hotel, the carpets in the hallways were stained, and every restaurant table I saw was scratched and wobbly. Those things would be easy enough to fix, but it seemed like nobody cared. The hotel is in awful shape and badly needs renovating. I wouldn’t recommend it. If I’d been traveling alone instead of on an organized trip, I would’ve left right away.

Our linens were clean and comfortable, but the rest of the room and bathroom weren’t in great shape. The front desk was helpful, though there wasn’t another room available to move us to. The location is in a somewhat busy shopping area, and the beach is about a 15-minute walk away.

The best part was breakfast. It was good and generous, easily the highlight of the stay. The rooms were clean, at least, but the place overall looked dated and not nice. The parking lot made me wonder if the hotel was even open, it looked abandoned. We had to open the sliding glass doors by hand to get into the lobby. Hallways were hot and damp, with no air conditioning, and although the room AC switched on, it didn’t cool the room. The shower also backed up while I was bathing, which really bothers me. I’m giving two stars because the staff were super friendly, but the hotel badly needs a remodel.

The location worked well, with supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores close by. Service was pretty good, and everyone was kind to my dog. Everything else was good too, though some things need maintenance, which is understandable given how close it is to the shore. I’d recommend it and would stay again if I needed to.

The bathroom is a bit old, but the room was clean. Having three beds for three adults was a big help. That was hard to find during our weeklong trip.
