The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. The beds are comfortable, and there's AC and a TV with Wi-Fi. There's also a small room for handwashing clothes, plus a kitchen counter with a sink. An OXXO open 24 hours is right next door for coffee, bus tickets, Western Union, beer, tequila, and other things. The Mercado is a few blocks away, as are the cathedral and lots of restaurants. Taxis cost only a dollar to go anywhere, and you can get almost anything delivered. On weekend afternoons, we highly recommend Don Comalon in Comala. We loved Beto's restaurant at Cuyutlan beach. The Zoo is a few blocks away, costs $35 pesos to enter, and the parrots were so sweet. If you can't find what you need, Walmart has it.
