Hotel La Casona de Don Jorge

We've stayed here many times, and it's our favorite hotel in Colima. Most recently, my wife was in the hospital for a week, then we spent another week at the hotel. The staff were fabulous, and the owner is a wonderful man, kind, gentle, and caring. We can't say enough good things about this place. We're so grateful to have them in our lives.

The bed was so comfortable, the furniture was charming, and the bathroom was a decent size. The AC worked well, too. The shower could use a little more pressure, and an interior barn door would solve the door swing issue. I only wish there were a pool. I absolutely loved this cute, charming little hotel. It had an almost French feel, with adorable courtyards and lots of thoughtful little touches. Restaurants are walkable, some staff spoke great English and were very helpful, and the attached cafe served a very nice breakfast. I'd love to come back someday!

The rooms are basic and a little dated, but the beds were comfortable and the staff were very nice. I liked the quiet, sweet feel of the hotel and its beautiful courtyard, especially in a centro that wasn't so beautiful.

The cafe served great food, and the staff were excellent and helpful. I’d happily come back. It’s a lovely renovated colonial hotel, with spotless, small rooms and a really comfortable bed. The air conditioning was especially nice with it 95 out.
