Cabañas el Pino 2

The location made getting around a little costly, since there’s no Uber or similar service. Even so, we were really happy with our visit and would definitely recommend Cabañas el Pino. The staff treated us like family and made us feel looked after. Thanks so much for the hospitality!

The manager’s response was the worst part of an already bad stay. When we complained about the second cabin being dirty, he shouted at us and insulted us. He didn’t apologize, blamed the cleaning lady, and said he’d thought he was speaking to adults. It started with a filthy first cabin and a bathroom that didn’t work. We called the manager, then had people coming in and out to “fix” things while we were trying to rest. They eventually decided to move us, but gave no notice about when. Without asking us first, they transferred all our belongings to another cabin. That felt completely disrespectful and unsafe. The place is run down, the customer service was awful, and we definitely don’t recommend it.

In room 2, getting the water to a comfortable temperature takes some care. It runs too hot, so turn the tap slowly toward the middle, where it becomes more or less warm.

The cabins could use clearer signs, since there’s nothing showing their names or helping you find them. There were also lots of cobwebs and spiders around the wooden headboards and ceilings, so those areas need more attention when cleaning. The shower drain gave off a strong sewage smell and could use a trap. Otherwise, everything felt nice and comfortable. The manager was very friendly and sorted out the small problem we had when we arrived right away.
