La Troje de Adobe

The staff made our trip. They took us on tours and even picked us up from Chihuahua. After we’d left, our train was delayed on the way back, so we needed another night in Creel. I stayed in touch with Juan, and he helped arrange a room. The hotel was cozy and comfortable for my family, with great Wi-Fi and TV. It’s central and easy to walk to places around town. Their hospitality made the trip amazing.

The location is just off the main street, close to restaurants and other parts of the village, but not too noisy. My room was spacious, with a fully working, well-maintained bathroom. The host was great and spoke excellent English, and it was all a very good price. I really enjoyed my stay.

We spent a week here and loved the cabin-like room on the top floor, with its view over town, little heater, desk, and good hot shower. The internet was fast enough for long Zoom meetings until the Easter crowds arrived. Restaurants are all within walking distance. Guillermo was warm and friendly, and had lots of useful information about the area. Staying here was an absolute joy.

I liked it enough to stay an extra night. The owner is incredibly nice, and the rooms are clean, with lovely wood finishes. It’s a charming little hotel right in the center of town.
