Casa De La Cruz

We’d book again. Our orchid suite was just right for a couple, with a wonderful pool right outside and a clean complex. The kitchen was stocked well for cooking, and the location made it easy to get to the beach and la plaza. Ballena Blanca next to the complex does great smoothies and pina coladas to go. We’re Canadian, and May was hot for us, so having AC at night was a real plus. The listing mentions construction and bar noise, which we read before booking. We didn’t hear anything while sleeping, probably because of the AC and fewer low season activities in the square.

The marina location was great, and the property was beautifully maintained. Our room had everything we needed and more, from high quality kitchen supplies to toiletries, sheets, and towels. They’d thought of every little detail. There’s a bar next door, but the music was excellent and stopped at 11. The hosts even left earplugs for anyone who might not enjoy the noise. Perfect stay, I’d give it 6/5 stars if I could.

We booked the Orchid room because it doesn’t share a wall with the bar, just in case. Since we were there in May, low season, loud music wasn’t an issue. The host replied quickly, and check in and check out were easy. I’d definitely return. The room was comfortable and modern, and the pool was amazing. Little touches like drinking water and sunscreen made the stay relaxing and convenient.

Sunday gets busy in La Cruz, with activities going well into the evening, while the other days are generally quiet. We spent six nights at Casa Bella Cruz and loved its central location and beautifully landscaped grounds. Our studio was spacious despite being a studio, with everything we needed and the most comfortable furniture we’ve had in Mexico. We also enjoyed the rooftop palapa and pool, and had a private patio outside. The hosts were always available and checked whether guests needed anything. I’d highly recommend this quaint Casa.
