OYO Hotel Princesa

We came hoping to rest, but there was a lot of noise, which I think came from the laundry staff. Guests arrive tired, so the hotel should be a restful place. Parking was a hassle too. Employees were driving around in their long cars, and we had to look around for a spot.

Absolutely disgusting. The hotel is run-down, with bedbugs and cockroaches, plywood walls, and an ancient shower. I stayed because my company chose it for me. 😒

It's very close to the center, but I felt it was unsafe and dirty. The furniture is really old. Sorry, but I can't recommend it.

Room 309 had one double bed and one single bed. We had called ahead to book and paid for both nights. We arrived on Friday, September 12th, left our things, then went out. At first the simple, clean place seemed fine. But when we came back, the curtain facing the street wouldn't close properly, so we could hear all the outside noise. At 3:00 AM, my mother-in-law, who was sleeping in the single bed, woke up in pain and itching from bed bug bites. We couldn't see anything at first and thought it might be an allergy, so she went back to bed. The bugs kept biting her, though, and she managed to kill one. It was a terrible night. My husband and I got up at 5:00 AM so she could rest in our bed. We checked out at 8:00 AM to go to an event. I left my number for a callback because the night watchman said he couldn't return our money until the manager came in at 10:30 AM. Nobody called. At noon, we phoned again and spoke to someone who knew nothing about it and said we had to talk to the manager. Ten minutes later, they called back and said they'd refund the second night in cash. When we went to the hotel at 2:00 PM, they said they knew nothing about it and had to check again. We don't even know whether they rented the room again. In the end, they refunded only the night we didn't stay. The staff coordination was terrible, and the service was very poor.
