The rooms were comfortable, the pool area was lovely, and the staff and servers treated us very well. The problem came after checkout at noon: we had several hours before our bus to CDMX and planned to get lunch, but were told we couldn’t order food or drinks since we’d checked out. Soon after, we were asked to leave the pool area too. That policy felt odd. At other hotels, we’ve usually been able to keep using the amenities after checkout.

The room’s air conditioning was a plus, but the TV was tiny and only had cable. I was there for one night, and for about $1,500 pesos I expected a little more. The pool was nice to have, though nothing special, and hallway noise carried right into the room, making it tough to relax. It’s okay for a quick stop, but I think you can find better for that price.

Food and service were good, and the pool was good too. My room was pretty noisy, though the room itself was okay. The Wi-Fi was too weak, which I didn’t like.

I had a great time overall, with a good pool and an excellent restaurant and hotel service. The location is central. I stayed twice in one week, and one room was great while the other was a bit less so.

The breakfast is good, and for the quality the overall price is very good. There’s also a restaurant that’s okay and a spa, which is a nice extra. It’s probably one of Cuautla’s better hotels, especially for a stopover or just a night.
